Temporary Changes - 07/14 - 07/21
First Changes - July-August
● Insect-like wing. Cross between Dragonfly and No Man's Land Worm
● Pointed ears.
● Thin, translucent claw-like fingernails.
● Antennae on their heads which can be used to sense nearby vibrations and keep balance during flight.
● Longer and thinner arms, legs, and fingers. Transformation of his left arm resulted in a malformation of bone and metal that is substantially more vulnerable than any other part of him.

● The ability to create Faerie rings (small circles of mushrooms on the ground) that can transport themselves and others to the location of another Faerie ring. Each Faerie can only have up to three Faerie rings active at once, and the Faerie who made the ring must be present in order to use them.
● A need to feed on human energy. The Faerie accomplishes this by luring a human into one of their Faerie rings, at which point they are able to sap them of their energy.
Second Changes - August-September
● MISSING WING
● Extra set of arms
● Eyes that can be any color, usually in a pastel shade (lighter blue)
● Compound Eyes
● A large, extra mouth somewhere on the Faerie's body that can be used to devour humans as an alternative to draining their energy in Faerie rings. This mouth is able to consume human flesh, if desired.
Third Changes - September-October
● A fog form. This is an exaggerated version of their monster form that appears only during the fog and is a chance to make your monster more "horrifying" during the fog.
● Travel form: the ability to take the form of the insect their monster form is based on. In this form, the character will look like a normal insect and will be able to move faster. However, they will also be more vulnerable.
● The ability to create Faerie dust from their hands. This can either give a human amnesia for the duration of an hour, or transform them into a harmless insect for an hour. Each Faerie can only use one Faerie dust spell per day.
● An aversion to lying. Faeries have a difficult time telling lies, even though many of them are skilled at twisting the truth. See the FAQ section in the comments for more details on the symptoms which manifest when telling a lie.
● The ability to temporarily hypnotize humans, although the hypnosis will have to be broken before they can drain them of their energy.

art by
September 2023- AU Vash
First off, a little background! Vash is what's known as an Independent Plant, meaning he's the biological offspring of the creatures that provide energy, clean water, gravity, and a whole bunch of other stuff for the human race as they travel through space! He and his twin brother, Nai, were taught to be good to humans and raised like them. Unfortunately, Vash and Nai discovered some bad things and as a result, Nai crashed the space ships they were on! The two separated, and Vash grew up with humans, coming to love and care for them. Nai, meanwhile, became further bitter and jaded over how the plants were treated on this planet.
This led to a very bitter confrontation between the two as teenagers! The result was Vash choosing humanity over his brother and losing an arm in the process. Nai, meanwhile, branded himself as Millions Knives and vowed that within a century or so, he would carry out his plans to eradicate humanity and create a paradise for Plants and only Plants. His eventual efforts would be pinned on Vash, who would become the most wanted "criminal" on the planet as a result!
Vash, meanwhile, would never stop loving humanity, despite the fact that so many believed him to be a dangerous outlaw.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT?: Yeah so, you know that whole confrontation with Nai/Knives? Instead of defying his brother, he accepts what Nai has said and shoots his caretaker. The two begin working together to create a world of plants. Vash doesn't lose his arm or anything like that!
Overall, Vash is still very much a creature of kindness and mercy. He still loves humans. He just takes that shit too far. He lives among them for long periods of time, and when he learns of their deep suffering, he takes them out. The people of Jeneora Rock were suffering with their dying plant? Whoopsies, the whole town is dead now!
Since Vash's control over his gate is shown to be so unstable, I imagine the time still passes as it would in canon. In this time, he and Knives both work to gather the plants. Given the fact that Vash still likes humans well enough, he probably does a lot of work getting close to humans before killing them and stealing their Plants. This is probably exactly why he's on the Sand Steamer at the time of his canon point. It's just that he probably has left a few more corpses along the way.
Physical Changes
●Butterfly like wings resembling this. They fold down from his shoulders and envelop him like a cloak.
● Antennae on their heads which can be used to sense nearby vibrations. The antennae rise at a 90 degree angle, then curve around the head like a black halo.
● Pointed ears.
● Eyes that can be any color, usually in a pastel shade. — Purple, like the cube.
● Thin, translucent claw-like fingernails.
● The ability to shrink in size, down to as small as one inch tall.
● The ability to create Faerie rings — Shaped like destroying angels but lacking the poison effect.
● An aversion to lying — he will always tell the truth about someone's circumstance, he just might twist it to emphasize their suffering.
● Insect-like compound eyes.
● Up to two extra sets of arms. These may be either humanoid or insectoid, but must function as arms as opposed to legs.
● Longer and thinner arms, legs, and fingers.
● The ability to create Faerie dust from their hands. Give a human amnesia + The ability to temporarily hypnotize humans. He'll use this to subdue his victims and take away their pain before ending their lives. Hypnotizing them is the ONLY time Vash will use something other than his drain to kill them.
● Biomechanical glow on the wings (thanks Elias) to resemble Will-o-the-Wisps
Death Counter

Ask him how he got there, and he wouldn't be able to answer.
There are swirls of memories — the bodies of children and screaming parents; women who shout at him for his cruelty; a kind hand that maims him until Vash gives thanks; amanticore that pins him down. None of them make much sense.
Nor can they be dwelled on, either.
Without his jacket, there is little to protect him from the elements. His thermal is already caked with mud. His teeth chatter helplessly. Yet when he tries to lift himself up to escape, the energy leaves him. All he can do is lay there prone, while his head aches and throbs with memories that don't feel like his own.
Eventually, enough energy finds him that he's able to draw a small circle up. By now, the sun has returned, and its rays have warmed him, while the power of the cemetery he rests in has given him just enough renewed strength to use his magic.
In one moment, he's hunkered in the mud. In the next, he's curled up within his apartment.
He still needs to recover. But for now, he's alive.]
