[Livio really does give the best hugs. It's hard not to feel safe and protected while nestled up right here. Granted, he probably shouldn't think too hard about how cozy it is, or how he'd like to bury his face against his chest any more than he already has. That's a line they haven't crossed yet.]
Now, c'mon. [Vash leans back, just a hint scolding.] We're boyfriends-in-law now, right? No more callin' me Mr. Vash! It's just Vash to you.

But I could say the same to you. No way Nick's gonna get hurt as long as we're around. I can promise you that!

after he catches himself and settles down, though, his smile is bashful once again. really... he can't promise the same, not out loud. as much as he hates to admit it to himself, nick finds trouble. he always has, and livio isn't about to order him around to get him to stop. but still...]
I reckon between the two of us, we oughta be able to take care of him even if somethin' does happen. The more folks who got his back, the better.
